We got here after an hour from Disney. We were so tired that we had to take a nap. About 8PM we both woke up and as promised I took my hubby for a nice Dinner at Durango Steakhouse. We had Naked Nachos as our appetizer. We also had Oak-Fire grilled Bar-B-Que Baby Back Ribs and Western Cut Filet Mignon as our entrees. As a birthday treat, hubby got a free Mexican Fried Ice cream. It was real so good with vanilla ice cream coated with a crunchy ingredients, deep-fried and served up in a cinnamon-coated tortilla shell. Topped with honey and whipped cream. Overall experience was very good to excellent. We went our of the restaurant with bulging tummies and it hurts! We decided to drive around Cocoa Beach untill it was past midnight.

The next morning, was a visit to John F. Kennedy Space Center. This is hubby's one of fave place to visit...you know that geeky thing? hahah me naman was like...whatever! It was cool though to see the launch pad for the huge Saturn V rocket. Armstrong, Aldrin and Collin walked on it to the command module of Apollo 11. Unbelievable how tiny these Command Modules are. We also got to see the Mission Control Room where Engineers and Technicians commanded from the lift-off to splash-down. The we rode into a bus for an educational tour. While on our way, the driver which is also our guide tour pointed out the turtles, an eagle and birds. From a distance, we saw the Shuttle on the Launch Pad that was supposed to take off this June.
