Three Baby Geeses

Whoa, I just run out of juice! Sooo tired...I just finished mowing our yard. Physically tired but at the same time very rewarding just by seeing it freshly mowed. I can only wish the grass will stop growing but that is just impossible until its winter time again.

Some of my pinay friends were surprised that I mow our grass. I don't blame them! Mowing is a man's job but that's not a reason not to do it. Like they said, if there's a will, there's a way! I don't really do it myself all the time. In times where JJ gets to go home early, he would always lend me a hand. I mostly love it, when we both do it and we'd give each other's high five after a job well done.
I just hope one day I'd get a chance to really research how to make them greener and weed free! We had Scott's Lawn servicing our yard but I am very disatisfied to see that there were too many weeds and it seems like it is starting to overtake the good ones! I so envy some of my neighboor's yard that are well maintained. It looked so green, healthy and weed free! I guess JJ and I will have to exert more effort to achieve this goal, right?

Fuzzy's and Duckies

Now let's go back to the main reason of this post! So sorry that I got carried away, let me go back to the main topic which are the baby geeses! These baby geeses came to me on one of my breaks from mowing. They just came from nowhere and played on top of my feet. It seems like their mother had left them. I went looking around for signs and never found one! I had no idea what to do to them 'til I remember about Star's interests with the geeses whenever I took her out for a walk! So I secured the tiny fuzzy's and showed it to my little critters, boy they were soo excited sniffing on them!

Kokosing Gap Trail

Welcome, small town USA - Mt. Vernon, where Kokosing Gap Trail can be found. It's located one hour from Columbus, Ohio. It is a 14-mile paved trail. We started from Mt. Vernon to Gambier and Howard. We didn't finished the trail all the way to Danville but vowed to come back and finished the trail all the way to the end point!

Trail users were very scarce. The trail was very much well-maintained. It includes many opportunities to stop and enjoy the view of the bridges, creeks, the locomotive, barn house and tunnel at Howard or just the nature itself. Beautiful wild flowers grew at the sides. Park benches, waterfountains and restrooms are available throughout the trail.

Biking is a great way to commune with nature and shape up at the same time. It was our first bike for this year. We were physically tired but the bonding and fun was priceless! Enjoy our photos!

Girl's Night Out

Girl's Night Out

Jen and I finally got a chance to go out tonight after almost 5 months of not seeing each other. There's so much to catch up even if we could chat online anytime. Seeing a person in flesh and talking with eye contact really makes a difference! I miss chatting with this girl. I just wished somebody could've driven for us, I would really like to hang out with ya in a bar for some drink Wow, I really am in the mood for some drinking tonight. Anweyz, as planned we had dinner at House of Japan. Good food and great ambiance? what else could we asked for! One of the waiter's came to ask us if we are Thai???? Uhmm...do we look like we are? After dinner we drove straight to Rave theatre. We were supposed to watch the Pirates of Carribbean but that 7:40PM show was already SOLD! So we ended up with a 7:20PM show for Shrek The Third. It was a good comedy with moral lesson about how it's important not to care about what other people think of you, and to be yourself above all!

There goes my Sunday

It's sunday, thank God I am off! I had planned this day to spend packing for stuffed that needs to be shipped back home. I had to finished it before JJ is back from his aviation class at noon. Before I even started it, I went upstairs to the computer room and started shoppin at ebags lookin' for some jansport backpack's for my niece and nephews.

Puppies just finished their morning meals and so I left them dowstairs @ the great room so they can play. I was wondering why they've been so quite when normally they play and make a sound like monkeys! ...and so I went and checked on them! Gracious! They've been so busy eating/shredding cottonelles! I was wondering how they got it! Last I remembered it was laying on top of the coffee table where neither one of them could reach it! I got so mad and went after them! Puppies are they are, they thought I was playin' with them, it made them crazier when I try to chase star and sunny chases me too!

My Puppies

..and who's the mastermind? I'm pretty sure its Star! I better go and start cleaning!

Mother's Day is JJ's Bday

It's Babe's thirty-fifth birthday today. Him and I loved spending our bday's with just the two of us. I took him to Bone Fish and Grill to celebrate his birthday. At first we were skeptical that we can get a table right away knowing that most restaurants are packed on for mother's day occassion however when we got there, we were surprised that there was no wait! at least for 2 occupants. Most customers came in groups. Anyway, we had a sumptous dinner and when we got home, its time to open the presents!
This scrap has 4 parts

A FOTOFILM. JJ love his new toys and Star seems like she wants to join the fun or is it the other way around?

Across the Miles

Mother's Day Special

That is my MOM...my Nanang and Mama! I am sooo proud of her and I can't help myself, I got very emotional while I was making this scrap for her...I missed her so much and I was so glad that I took photos of her on my first home coming last October. My only choice on special days like this is to get to see her thru photos. I hope that she will have the grand time celebrating it, with my sister's and grandkids.

Missed you a lot Nanang Happy Mother's Day!

Photostitch

I got curious with one of Canon's ability to Photostitch. I used 3 photos and merged it. These are photos we took from Hong Kong and this is the result. I am not too convinced about the 3rd photo. Maybe I will have to get rid of the 3rd photo..will see. Not too bad for the first time eh?
