Spring is on its way!

My dear friend and I have been exchanging text messages for the last hours by now and at one point we talked about how we are so excited for the weather to get warmer. She told me 5 weeks more to go and its officially Spring! No wonder I've itching to buy decorations that are Spring related.

Last Sunday, my boys and I went to get some groceries at the Asian Market. After that, hubby wanted to swing by Microcenter which is just in the same vicinity. Since its just a walking distance we figured it would be a hassle to take the little man in and out of the stroller and the car seat. So I strolled him down and i don't know what happened but I instantly went inside Marshall's. I have been to Marshall's once before and I vaguely remember what is it like.

Well, I spent a good number of hours browsing around, nothing caught my eye until I went to the Home Goods section. I found cheap clear vase which looked exactly like the one's I saw at Pottery Barns website. I've been wanting to purchase those vases to put on my fireplace mantle. I also got artificial lemon in a box to fill the vases in.

This Wrought Iron Bicycle really caught my big eyes! It was standing all alone mixed-in with Kitchen Decors. The price was only $7.99 and no defects of whatsoever. Sold! I can see it standing in the corner of my kitchen sink, I can fill the baskets with artificial fruits or veggies or it can stay in the great room with potted plants! Oh and I also bought 2 Philippine made decorations, one is a coconut leaf stick gathered together and is tied with twine to make it stand on their own. How awesome! Now I really can't wait for Spring!

wow, that wrought iron bicycle is awesome! looks like an antique almost. great find on a great price! what could be better than that? love it! :) haven't been to marshall in awhile and we have one closeby. masubukan ngang pumunta ulit dun. do you have home goods store ba sa inyo, df? may magaganda rin silang selections, and they're not too pricey. sa target, marami silang products from pinas. may nakita rin akong walis tingting, all shiny and varnished, for decoration of course. :)
